Quantitation

3D Atlas - Right Ventricle

Step #1: manual alignment of the 3D data set in order to obtain anatomically-correct RV 2D views: 4-chamber view, coronal view and sagittal view.

Step #2: manual tracing of the RV endocardium on end-systolic and end-diastolic frames in 4-chamber view.

Step #3: manual tracing of the RV endocardium on end-systolic and end-diastolic frames in sagittal (transversal) view.

Step #4: manual tracing of the RV endocardium on end-systolic and end-diastolic frames in coronal view.

Step #5: verification of semi-automated endocardial border detection, with additional editing of RV contours performed when necessary.

Step #6: Dynamic RV cast and final quantitative results (volumes, stroke volume and ejection fraction), with time-volume curve.
