- The attendant should be able to learn how to use natriuretic peptides for the diagnosis of heart failure
- The attendant should be able to know which echocardiographic criteria and which cut-offs are used to establish the diagnosis of heart failure with a preserved/mid-range ejection fraction (HFpEF/HFmrEF)
- The attendant should be able to know how a patient with new onset heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF = systolic heart failure) should be uptitrated with medical therapy and devices
- The attendant should be able to know in which patients the ACE-inhibitor can/should be replaced with sacubitril/valsartan
