- Criteria and options for valve repair in secondary mitral regurgitation
The participant should be able to recognize secondary mitral regurgitation and to evaluate its severity and the best alternatives for optimal treatment by using an approach based on
- Clinical parameters
- Echocardiographic and other imaging parameters
After completion, the participant should have an improved knowledge of secondary MR and be better suited to decide which cases are best treated conservatively, which cases are best treated with percutaneous approach and which are best suited for surgical mitral intervention.
