In this webinar, participants will learn how to apply the recent ESC guidelines on infective endocarditis in their daily clinical practice.  The selected cases will focus specifically on the clinical assessment and management of:

  • A patient with a large vegetation and neurological complications
  • A patient with a prosthetic valve and unexplained infection


Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the expert panel and will learn:

  • The indications for surgery (and its timing) in infective endocarditis
  • How to use multimodality imaging in patients with suspected infective endocarditis
  • The risks of surgery in patients with infective endocarditis and neurological complications
  • The surgical and medical treatment options in prosthetic valve endocarditis
