The series was designed by course director Mark Westwood from the ESC Education Committee.

westwood-mark-2019.jpg"In this series of webinars, we will cover the four 2021 ESC Guidelines from a practical perspective designed to demonstrate how they integrate into daily clinical practice in general cardiology settings. We focus on the evidence underpinning these guidelines and in particular the changes since previous iterations. This gives those with previous knowledge of best practice a functional way to rapidly update themselves and, for those less experienced, a way to rapidly digest current contemporary thinking in these areas and recent changes to practice. To solidify this, we will then use clinical cases in each webinar to highlight these changes and best practice. This will also highlight and reinforce how management has changed and illuminate recent developments in these fields and why it is important to be aware of changes to guidance.

We hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be an intense but invaluable tour of these guidelines!"
