Summary

This course has been designed for cardiology fellows, cardiologists, cardiology related practitioners (i.e. anaesthesiologists, intensivists, emergency medicine and internal medicine specialists, sonographers) to provide a high-quality and authoritative “state of the art” review on the role of multimodality imaging in diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular emergencies.

Programme

Topics include: acute chest pain, acute dyspnea, hemodynamic instability (shock), new murmur, cardiac sources of embolism, chest trauma, cardiac arrest/CPR, focus cardiac ultrasound (FoCUS)

These topics will be addressed by the lectures and case presentations. Highly interactive discussion between faculty and course participants will be strongly encouraged.
