Organised by EHRA: This course is destined for fellows in training and physicians who wish to consolidate their knowledge in preparation for the EHRA certification exam. The course covers theoretical aspects of electrophysiology, as well as practical exercises on systematic interpretation of tracings. The aim of the course is to ensure that the participant masters the principles of techniques he will be applying throughout his practice.

Course objectives

Presentation of advanced ablation techniques and technologies. Special focus on AF, imaging techniques, non-invasive and invasive AF-mapping – multipoint mapping, single shot ablation and point-by-point RF, macroreentrant tachycardias, cases and complications.

The course also tries to achieve a close interaction with expert teachers, in a relaxed environment, that allows personal discussions during and between sessions.

Target audience

Physicians who already have experience in invasive electrophysiology and catheter ablation. Established electrophysiologists may experience a thorough review of state of the art in EP and advanced catheter ablation.

The registration fee includes:

  • Course participation
  • 2 nights' accommodation
  • 3 lunches, 1 dinner, 4 coffee breaks

Cancellation conditions

Up to 6 weeks prior to the course and upon receipt of a written cancellation, a refund of fees, minus a 25% of administrative charge, will be processed. No refund will be granted if the cancellation is done less than 6 weeks before the course start date.

The ESC reserves the right to cancel any of its Educational Programmes up to 1 (one) month prior to the programme starting date, in the event there are less than 25 persons registered for it. In such a case, the full registration fee will be refunded to the registered Participant, but the ESC shall not be liable for any cost incurred by the cancellation of accommodation and travel arrangements.
