The certification process gives credibility and professional legitimacy to an individual by demonstrating their competency in becoming fully certified.
The examination is designed to be completed in 2 consecutive parts 3 hours each, with a 60 minute lunch break.
The questionnaire is compiled by the EHRA Certification Committee, and consists of a 130 multiple-choice questions. Questions are based on the analysis of practical clinical cases and decision making (60-80%), with the remaining dedicated to theoretical questions.10 questions out of the 130 are back up questions and are used only for internal processes.
