Presentation:

The Imaging & Cardiac Tumours Study Group of the Council of Cardio-Oncology is aimed at promoting knowledge and awareness regarding the role of imaging in cardio-oncology and to facilitate research in this domain. 
Imaging plays a crucial role in early detection of cardiotoxicity, surveillance, and guiding therapeutic interventions in cardio-oncology;  moreover it is a milestone in the detection and treatment of cardiac tumours, whether primary or metastatic. These remain challenging conditions often necessitating a multidisciplinary approach due to their rarity, diverse histological types, and varied clinical presentations, despite advancements in diagnosis and therapeutics.
The Study Group includes cardiologists, experts in imaging, and other specialists involved in the management of cardiac tumours, such as cardiologists, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and cardiothoracic surgeons.
Objectives encompass conducting a comprehensive literature review, identifying knowledge gaps, prioritising research initiatives, and fostering collaborative research projects focused on cardiac tumours. 
Activities such as position papers, workshops, webinars, and multicentre registries will be initiated to achieve these objectives.
