How can I register for a congress?

Registration for all our congresses is processed entirely online through our website. If you wish to register a group, select your congress and go the Group & Third-Party Registration page. Click on the Order Access Codes button to start your registrations. Note that you first need to make a My ESC Account in your name and company name if haven’t already got one. 

I am an agent/booking coordinator. How can I register delegates for a congress?

Registration made by a third party might be subject to compliance obligations. Detailed information can be found on the third party and group page of the congress of your choice. Select “register now” and look for the group and third-party link on the registration page.  

What is included in my registration fee?

Not all the congresses include the same items. Please visit the registration page of the congress you wish to attend for more information; all included items are always listed on the top of the congress registration page. 

How can I get an invitation letter for a visa application?

Which payment methods are accepted? Can I pay by bank transfer?

We accept payment by credit card (VISA, MasterCard and American Express) Bank transfers are not accepted.

Which currencies are accepted?

Payments can only be done in euro.  

What is the FESC fee?

The designation of the FESC (Fellow of the ESC) title honours ESC Members who have made outstanding contributions in the field of cardiology. An ESC Fellow is a cardiologist who has had several years of experience in the field and has distinguished himself or herself individually in clinical, educational, investigational, organisational or professional aspects of cardiology. Is there special fee for ESC Members? Is there a special fee for association members?

Registration discounts for members are related to the congress you are attending and the membership you have subscribed to.  

ESC Professional Members and Professional Plus Members have a discounted fee for ESC Congress. 

Membership to one of our subspecialty associations are related to their association congresses.  

Information on the full benefits of different ESC memberships is listed on our website. 

Not a member yet? You can register for the Best Deal during the registration process. This includes your registration and membership at reduced rate. 

I am entitled to a reduced fee, but the fee is not available during the registration process

The proposed registration fees are given according to your My ESC profile. You should update your profile to your professional status before you register. A proof of eligibility needs to be uploaded during the registration process. 

Where can I find information about certificates and CME credits? 

A dedicated page for Certificate of attendance and CME credits is available for each congress. 
Look for the link to CME credits on the registration page of the Congress of your choice 

How can I get my congress badge?

Your congress badge will be available in your My ESC account, section Congresses. You will receive a notification email for the congress you have registered a few weeks before the event starts, or the information will be available in the confirmation email. 

Can I register an accompanying person?

No, the congresses are only accessible to certified healthcare professionals, associated press, industry representatives and other stakeholders in science, management and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

When will I get my registration confirmation/invoice?

Once you have submitted and paid your registration you will immediately receive a registration confirmation by email. The invoice will be available within 24 hours in your My ESC account. (go to orders and download the invoice) If you did not receive a confirmation email please check your spam folder. 

Can I replace one delegate with another?

Replacement is not accepted.  

Can I cancel a registration?

Cancellation of a registration is accepted under certain conditions. Please refer to the general conditions of the congress you registered for. You can find the link in the confirmation email of your registration or from the registration page of the congress you registered for. 

Are children allowed to attend?

Children are not permitted at the congress beyond the Registration area. For some congresses there are childcare facilities available during the congress. 

Can I register on site?

Absolutely, you may register on site every day of the congress, or you can still use the online services with your My ESC account as these are available until the last day of the congress. Using the online services prevents you from queuing onsite and allows you to download and print your badge directly from your My ESC account.

Groups

How can I register a group?

Registration for all our congresses is processed entirely online through our website. If you wish to register a group, select your congress and go the registration page. Click on the Group Registration button to start your registrations. Note that you first need to make a My ESC Account in your name and company name if haven’t already got one.

What information do I need to provide to register a delegate?

We do not require any details for each participant you wish to register. 

You will receive Access Codes for your delegates. The delegate can then activate their registration with their personal My ESC account details using the access code. 

Can I send you a list of delegates to register?

No, you do not need to send us a list of delegates. Registration of delegates on their behalf is done through an access code system. Simply order the number of registrations needed, we’ll send you access code(s) for you to distribute directly to your delegate(s). The delegate can then activate their registration with their personal My ESC account details using the access code.

Can I pay for the group now and give the names later?

We do not require the names of your delegates. Registration of delegates on their behalf is done through an access code system. Simply order the number of registrations needed, we’ll send you access code(s) for you to distribute directly to your delegate(s). The delegate can then activate their registration with their personal My ESC account details using the access code.  

Do I need to pay for the access codes I have not used, can I cancel them? 

The order form you have signed acts like a contract and obliges you to pay for all the ordered access codes even when you haven’t paid the total order yet. Access codes can be cancelled according to the general conditions cancellation policy available on the group and third-party registration page of each congress.  

Which is the official agency for AIFA submissions (pre-richieste AIFA)? 

Any Italian pharmaceutical company supporting or participating in a congress abroad, is subjected to an authorization by AIFA (Italian Drug Agency), according to an Italian Government Decree (Decreto Legislativo 219/06 – art. 124).  
The request of authorization must be submitted within 60 days before the starting date of the event. The appointed agency to collect all applications from pharmaceutical companies and file them with the AIFA is:

Can I pay by bank transfer/credit card?

Payment by credit card and bank transfer are both possible from your group account. 

Groups and third party can pay by credit card and bank transfer. Detailed information can be found on the email or the proforma invoice you receive after you have placed your order. 

I have made a group registration and wish to make a payment by bank transfer: where can I find your bank details? 

Bank details can be found on the proforma invoice you have received after you have placed your order. 

Where can I get an invoice from? 

An invoice will be issued upon receipt of payment on our account and will be available within 24 hours on your My ESC Account. 

Are your bank account details the same for each congress/department? 

Bank details can be different from one congress to another,  

The information is given on the order or the invoice you received from the registration team  

May I collect the certificates of attendance for the whole of my group or a few colleagues without them being present?

All delegates attending the congress are entitled to a certificate of attendance (including CME Credits when applicable). The delegate downloads their own Certificate of attendance from their My ESC Account” 
The certificates will only be provided to each individual delegate. Sending a delegate certificate to the group contact is not possible.
