ESC Congress 2021 – The Digital Experience is accredited for 27 CME credits by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®), an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
The certificate of attendance with your CME credits will be based on your time viewing scientific sessions, which will be tracked during the congress, 27–30 August and the period after the congress until 13 September.
The maximum of credits per day is defined by the UEMS. The sum of the number of hours spent each day watching sessions will give the total number of credits obtained at the end of the event.
The certificate will be available from 27 September and will be based on the real-time tracked spent viewing scientific videos from 27 August until 13 September.
Please be aware that any tracking blockers on your device or browser may prevent us from tracking your activity properly, with the result that the CME points will not be added to your certificate of attendance and cannot be claimed after the event.
The complimentary restricted access to the 'Research Gateway' does not provide any CME credits.
You will need to complete a short questionnaire to receive your certificate. The questionnaire and certificate can be found in your My ESC account from 27 September. Just select ‘ESC Congress 2021 – The Digital Experience’ in the ‘congress’ section on the right-hand side and click on ‘manage’.
