A dynamic event to Regroup, Inspire, Strengthen and Energize women in cardiology

The RISE Conference is a dynamic day of professional development, connecting women physicians with the organisations that represent them.

RISE was created to offer women across medical specialties the opportunity to build non-clinical skills that are essential for career growth.

RISE ESC Congress 2025.pngRISE@ESCCongress 2026 programme will focus on the theme 'Growing and Thriving as a Leader in Cardiology', explored from multiple perspectives, including those of practicing clinicians and clinical researchers.

The goal is for each participant to learn new strategies for success, take advantage of exceptional opportunities for connection and mentorship, and chart a personal path toward leadership in cardiology.

A reception for all RISE faculty and attendees will take place immediately after the conference to further support networking.

RISE@ESC Congress 2026 will take place on Thursday, 27 August from 8:30 to 17:30 at the Messe Munich (ICM - International Congress Center Messe München).

A full-day programme bringing women physicians together to develop essential non-clinical skills for career advancement

RISE@ESCCongress 2026 Programme Directors, Pamela Douglas, MD, Maria Rubini, MD, and Malissa Wood, MD have created a dynamic agenda that offers a global perspective on leadership.

Sessions will be led by prominent leaders in cardiology and business who will share perspectives from around the world.

The aim is to equip women cardiologists with the essential skills they need to establish their own leadership paths. Attendees will leave inspired energized and ready to RISE to the next level.

Registration is open not only to physicians specializing in cardiology and cardiovascular subspecialties, but also to anyone interested in strengthening the role of women in cardiology. Registration is available separately from ESC Congress registration or as an add on to it, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

RISE@ESCCongress 2026 registration fee includes:

  • Access to all sessions during the full-day conference event
  • Meals, including continental breakfast, buffet lunch, and two coffee breaks
  • Admission to post-conference reception to include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
  • RISE notepad, pen, and other conference materials

  • Early fee until 31 May: €125 (VAT included)
  • Late fee from 1 June: €150 (VAT included)
