Madrid’s public transport system is without a doubt, fantastic. It is fast, safe, clean and very reliable and efficient, which makes getting around Madrid very easy.

Public transportation

Metro

The nearest Metro station is FERIA DE MADRID - Line 8 with exits at the South Entrance to the Venue.

The line connects the fairgrounds with the terminals of Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport and the Cercanías RENFE train network at Nuevos Ministerios.

Public transport tickets - Take your metro pass provided by the ESC

As part of its sustainability commitment, the ESC will provide registered healthcare professionals a four-day Madrid metro pass - available at the Registration Area.

It is valid for four days after activation and usable throughout the entire city – including transfers to the airport. 

Buses

Madrid’s extensive bus network allows you to get to IFEMA MADRID from anywhere in the city.

There are two urban bus routes operated by the Municipal Transport Company (EMT):

  • Line 73: Diego de León - IFEMA MADRID
  • Line 112: Mar de Cristal - Barrio del Aeropuerto

Intercity buses:

  • Line 122: Avenida de América - IFEMA MADRID
  • Line 828: Universidad Autónoma - Alcobendas - IFEMA MADRID - Canillejas.

 

Train (also called Cercanias)

The line C1 connects the airport with the Nuevos Ministerios station and there is a direct connection with line 8 of the Metro.

 

By Car

IFEMA MADRID has road connections to Madrid’s main access and ring roads: 

  • M11 (exits 5 and 7)
  • M40 (exits 5, 6 and 7)
  • A2 (exit 7)

The South and North entrances of the fairground give direct access to the different parking areas.
