Important information - Paris Marathon

On Sunday, 12 April 2026, the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon will take place. This major event starts on the Champs‑Élysées (near the Arc de Triomphe), winds through central Paris, and finishes on Avenue Foch—passing iconic sites such as the Louvre, Notre‑Dame, Eiffel Tower, and Bois de Vincennes.

  • Expect extensive road closures and elevated pedestrian and transit traffic in the city center.
  • Plan for potential delays, particularly if traveling to or from congress venues
  • Consider arriving early or using alternative transport routes.
  • Local hotels may also feel the impact of guest volume and restricted access.
  • Please allow extra time and contact your hotel concierge for recommended routes on this day.

Create your programme

The Congress Programme Committee is working hard putting together a programme with the latest science and practical tracks presented by international leading experts.

It will be available in the next few weeks. Once published we recommend:

  1. Browse the programme and get a general overview of all sessions taking place during the congress
  2. Sign in (via the top right corner of the screen) with your My ESC login and password, to personalise your programme
  3. Add sessions you don’t want to miss in your programme: click on the bookmark icon. The session will be saved in “My Programme”

In the online programme, the timing is CEST (Paris time).

Abstracts and Clinical Cases will be available for consultation on ESC 365. Presentations from rooms 1 to 5 will be recorded and available on-demand for all the delegates through ESC 365 until 28 April 2026. 

After that, congress resources will be available for Fellows of EHRA and EHRA members only. Not yet a member? Join us now!

Certificate of attendance and continuing medical education

An application will be submitted to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS)

Your CME Certificate will be available after congress in your My ESC account. More coming soon.
