Getting there from the airport

When you have landed at Munich Airport, you have a choice of buses, public transport or taxis to take you to the MOC – Event Center Messe München.

Lufthansa Airport Bus

There is a Lufthansa Airport Bus which departs from the terminals and the airport main building without stop to Schwabing Nord (U6 / Nordfriedhof station). From there, we recommend that you continue with the U6 line, getting off at Kieferngarten stop, which is about a 5-minute walk from the MOC – Event Center Messe München.

Public transport

Directly below the central area of the Munich Airport, you will find the suburban train (S-Bahn) station for the lines S1 and S8. Trains depart every 10 minutes for the city center. Depending on the route you choose, the ride to the MOC – Event Center Messe München takes between 45 and 60 minutes.

Taxi

By taxi, you can get from Munich Airport to the MOC – Event Center Messe München in about 25 minutes. Taxis at the airport are available directly in front of the airport’s terminals—just as outside the entrance of the MOC – Event Center Messe München.

Getting there from central station

From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), both public transport and taxis are available to take visitors to the MOC – Event Center Messe München.

Public transport

From central station takes about 20 minutes

From central station (Hauptbahnhof) with suburban train (S-Bahn) and subway (U-Bahn) U6
Change once, travel time: approx. 20 minutes

• any suburban train to stop Haltestelle Marienplatz
• Change to subway U6 to the direction Fröttmaning/Garching-Forschungszentrum
• Exit at stop Kieferngarten

Travel time is approx. 15 minutes. From Kieferngarten station, it’s about a 5-minute walk to the MOC.

Getting there by Public Transport

The MOC – Event Center Messe München is located close to the subway (U-Bahn) stop Kieferngarten of line 6 direction Garching-Hochbrück. From there, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the MOC. Signs point you the way from Kieferngarten to the MOC.

From Marienplatz via U6
Transfers: none, travel time approx. 15 min

• Enter U6 direction Fröttmaning / Garching-Forschungszentrum
• Exit at stop Kieferngarten

From central station (Hauptbahnhof) via suburban train (S-Bahn) and U6
Transfers: one, travel time approx. 20 min

• Take any suburban train in the direction of Ostbahnhof to stop Marienplatz
• Change to the U6 direction Fröttmaning / Garching-Forschungszentrum
• Exit at stop Kieferngarten
