By train from the airport

The most economical way to reach the Messe München Ordercenter from Munich Airport is by train, using a combination of S-Bahn and U-Bahn. From the airport station at Munich Airport Terminal, take either the S8 in the direction of Herrsching or the S1 towards Leuchtenbergring/Laim, which takes approximately 30–40 minutes to reach the city center. Depending on which S-Bahn line you choose, transfer to the U6 at either Marienplatz if travelling on the S8 or Sendlinger Tor if on the S1. Continue on the U6 towards Garching-Forschungszentrum and exit at Kieferngarten station. From there, it is a short 5–7-minute walk to the MOC Ordercenter. The total journey takes around 50–60 minutes and costs approximately €13.70 for a single adult ticket from the airport to the city.

The ticket machines at the Airport are located at the S-Bahn station in the airport terminal, these machines allow you to select a Single Ticket, entering Munich city or your specific destination if needed. You can also download the MVV app on your smartphone or DB Navigator App. Note that the ticket from the airport to Kieferngarten covers all necessary zones.
