Testimonial from the 2025 Winner of the Young Investigators Award (YIA)

It was a great privilege to receive the Young Investigator Award at ESC Acute CardioVascular Care 2025 for our work. Preparing the abstract was a rewarding academic process and presenting it in front of a highly engaged and expert audience was both motivating and humbling. The congress offered a unique opportunity to share our findings with peers dedicated to advancing care in critically ill cardiovascular patients.

I chose to submit to ESC Acute CardioVascular Care Congress because it offers a focused platform where scientific excellence meets clinical relevance in the acute setting. It is one of the few congresses that brings together intensivists, cardiologists and emergency physicians in such a meaningful way. What sets this congress apart is the collaborative spirit, the high-quality discussions and its strong support for early-career researchers. It’s an ideal environment to grow, learn and make your voice heard.

Testimonial from the 2024 Winner of the Young Investigators Award (YIA)

I am truly honoured to have received the “Young Investigator Award" at ESC Acute CardioVascular Care 2024.

The abstract writing process was both challenging and fulfilling, as it often is, and it was my first attempt to communicate the results.

Presenting at the congress allowed me to engage with a knowledgeable audience and foster insightful discussions with leading experts in the field.

Science is a dynamic process: sharing and discussing early results is a crucial part of that journey.

Engaging with experts at the congress provided me with a unique opportunity for learning and growth.

I chose to submit my abstract to the ESC Acute CardioVascular Care congress because it offered a well-organised, safe, yet challenging setting for such exchanges. I encourage all healthcare professionals at all levels to consider submitting an abstract."
