Confirmation of your presentation should be done as soon as possible

Step 1:  Log in to using your My ESC account (e-mail and password - the one used for abstract submission). You will also be able to view the abstract presentation time and format.

Step 2:  Select the presenter and confirm contact details.

Step 3: The presenter selected in step 2 will receive instructions by email to submit his/her agreement form.

The agreement form has to be submitted as soon as possible to ensure the abstract information is accurate in the final programme.

Important dates

End of April: abstract results online. An email has been sent to each submitter

8 June 2021: early fee registration deadline. All abstract presenters must register for the congress.

8 June 2021: deadline to confirm and upload your presentation.

Presentation Formats

Selected abstracts will be assigned to different presentation formats.

Each session is built to give the maximum visibility to the research and the opportunity for exchange and interactions with peers and key opinion leaders.

Young Investigator Award Session (YIA)

Two YIA sessions will be chaired by senior faculty members: one dedicated to Clinical Research and another to Basic Science.

The selected finalists will present their research in these dedicated online sessions, and a panel of experts will judge the presentations and determine the winners.

Prizes:

  • Free registration for Heart Failure 2021
  • Prizes: First Prize Winner (€ 1000) and two Runners-Up (€ 250)

Conditions:

  • Your abstract(s) must be accepted at Heart Failure 2021 in a Young Investigators Award Session
  • You must be the presenter of your abstract(s)
  • You must be 35 years old or younger

Abstracts have been selected and assigned by the Scientific Programme Committee. Abstracts not selected for a YIA Session have been automatically considered for other oral presentation or e-poster presentation.

Nursing Investigator Award Session (NIA)

The selected finalists will present their research in this online session dedicated to Nursing, and a panel of experts will judge the presentations and determine the winner.

Prizes:

  • Free registration for Heart Failure 2021
  • Prizes: First Prize Winner (€ 1000) and two Runners-Up (€ 250)

Conditions:

  • You must be a registered nurse, dietician (and related professions) or in training
  • Your abstract(s) must be accepted at Heart Failure 2021 for the Nursing Investigator Award Session
  • You must be the presenter of your abstract(s)
  • There is no age limit

Live Abstract Sessions

Best rated abstracts will be featured in dedicated Live Abstract sessions organised during the event to allow you to interact with the presenters and expert moderators. 

ePosters

Selected researchs will be published on the congress dedicated platform in an ePoster format. These ePosters will be available on-demand during and after HF 2021 – Online Congress.
This platform will allow continued discussions during the event, with interaction functionalities such as rating the presentation, number of views, chat and comments.
The abstract submitter will be able to participate and follow the conversation on their abstract throughout the event.
