Why has the congress been postponed?
After assessing the current state of COVID-19 and the inability to reliably predict where the pandemic will take us in the months ahead, we have been forced to cancel FCVB 2021, planned for this coming April in Budapest.
Will the congress be postponed to a later date?
FCVB will resume to its biennial calendar, taking place from 29 April to 1 May 2022, in Budapest, Hungary.
Will I be refunded for the cost of my registration fee?
We recognise the inconvenience this has caused, and we are waiving our normal reimbursement rules. Your registration fee will be refunded in full as soon as possible.
How, when and where will I be refunded for my registration fee?
You will be refunded on the credit card you used to register. If the payment was made by bank transfer you can add the bank details to your My ESC account.
Please note that the registration will only be refunded to the account used for the payment of your registration.
What will happen to my science?
This, unfortunately, is now the second postponement of this event due to the pandemic. We realise that this will likely come as a great disappointment due to its impact on the presentation and publication of your accepted abstract, originally planned for earlier this year. Please be assured that your abstract will automatically be included in the 2022 programme.
We will contact you next autumn with more details so that you can proceed with the version submitted, submit an updated version or withdraw from the event.
Can I withdraw my science and submit it elsewhere?
Yes. Kindly notify us by email so we can log this information on your abstract.
If you have read the above and your question is not answered
