Selected abstracts will be assigned to different presentation formats - Each session is constructed to give the research the maximum of visibility and opportunity for exchange and interactions with colleagues / peers as well as key opinion leaders and distinguished members of our faculty.

FCVB 2018 congress awards

  • Young investigator awards: Enter your research by choosing the option Young investigator award for a chance to be selected. Check the abstract submission rules to see if you qualify and submit your abstract under the applicable option. Each finalist's presentation will be graded by judges and the winner of each session will receive a diploma and a prize of €1000.
  • Moderated poster awards: In each session eight original abstracts will be selected to compete for the "Best Moderated Poster".

Abstract-based Programme

Selected abstracts will be assigned to different presentation formats - Each session is constructed to give the research the maximum of visibility and opportunity for exchange and interactions with colleagues / peers as well as key opinion leaders and distinguished members of our faculty.

 

Young Investigator Award Session (YIA)

A session dedicated to Young Investigators Award will be chaired by senior faculty members.

Finalists will present their research in oral sessions, moderated by two chairpersons and a panel of experts to judge the presentations and determine the winners.

Conditions

  • Your abstract(s) must be submitted under the option “Young Investigator Award”
  • The first author/presenter must be 35 years old or less -  birthday cut-off date 11 April 1980
  • Your abstract must be accepted for presentation in the YIA Session at Frontiers in CardioVascular Research congress 2018

Posters

Consist of visual display of the research in the form of a poster – Presenters will have time to present during the coffee break session in front of an appreciative audience and all posters will be visited by dedicated senior scientists.
