Confirmation of your presentation should be done as soon as possible

Step 1: Log in to using your My ESC account (e-mail and password - the one used for abstract submission). - You will also be able to view the abstract presentation time and format.

Step 2: Select the presenter and confirm contact details.

Step 3: The presenter selected in step 2 will receive instructions by email to submit his/her agreement form. The agreement form has to be submitted as soon as possible to ensure the abstract information is accurate in the final programme.

Important dates

16 November 2017, 23:59 (CET – Central European Time): abstract submission closed

Mid-December 2017: Abstract results online. An email will be sent to each submitter

8 February 2018: Early registration deadline: all abstract presenters must register for the Congress - Take advantage of Early Fee Savings - Register now

15 March 2018 - Late Registration Fee Deadline

Abstract-based programme

Young Investigator Award Sessions

A competition designed for abstract presenters 35 years old or under.
Finalists will receive a free registration to come to Ljubljana to present their research. They will be judged by a panel of experts who will determine a winner (€500 prize). The European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC) puts great emphasis on presentations of young investigators, as they are the future of the field and to support young PHD's, peers and researchers from all continents.

Rapid Fire - Oral abstract sessions

Fast paced and providing plenty of exchange between the audience and the presenter - Two sessions comprised of 8 abstract presentations. Discussions will be led by experts chairing the session. Presenters will summarise their research in 5 slides and interact with the audience on the key messages.

Moderated poster sessions

Research in a poster format, presented to an appointed moderator in front of an audience during the inter-session coffee breaks. Presenters are in competition for the "Best Moderated Poster" to win €200 prize. The audience is welcome to join in the discussion.

Poster sessions

Posters consist of a visual display of the research in the form of a poster - Posters will be visited by dedicated senior scientists during the coffee breaks.
Poster sessions are a very popular platform where our community truly comes together to network and exchange.
