 Key Dates

  • 4 December: clinical cases submission services open
  • 4 February: clinical cases submission closes at 23:59 (Paris time)
  • 10 February (12:00PM-noon, Paris time): extended clinical case submission deadline
  • Early March: clinical case results announcement
  • 23 March: early registration fee deadline*

*All clinical case presenters must be registered to the congress

Preparing your submission

Your Clinical Case must be clear, educational, practical and REAL.

The purpose of a clinical case presentation is to communicate diagnostic reasoning in the light of the current ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines providing a clear description of the patient’s condition and further management options based on these guidelines.

Oral Clinical Case Session

What is a Clinical case learning session?

The best clinical cases submitted are retained for presentation in highly interactive and educational sessions.

Trainees and young clinicians will present their cases and experts will be asked to moderate the sessions, facilitate interaction with the audience, prompt discussions, challenge the presenters and the audience.

The main objective of the session is to learn from challenging clinical case scenarios

The ACNAP Clinical Case Excellence Award

The best presented clinical case of the Oral Clinical Case Session will receive the ACNAP Clinical Case Excellence Award. The winner will get a prize of €2,000, a certificate and free registration to next year's EuroHeartCare congress. The ACNAP Clinical Case Excellence Award is open to all nurses and allied professionals with an active ACNAP Silver membership.
