ACNAP- EuroHeartCare Congress 2022, 22 - 23 May, Madrid & Online

ACNAP - EuroHeartCare Congress 2022 will be held in person in Madrid, Spain and online from around the world.

The Call for Abstracts is now open.

Share your findings by 4 February 2022, 12:00 noon CET. Don’t wait until the last minute.

  • Monday, 6 December 2021 - Opening abstract submissions
  • Friday, 4 February 2022 - Abstract submission deadline
  • Mid March 2022 - Abstract results announcement online. An email will also be sent to each submitter.

Presentation formats

Selected abstracts will be assigned to different presentation formats:

ACNAP Doctoral Student Award

This session will be held onsite.

Each finalist will present the key points of his/her research followed by a Questions & Answers period led by a panel of experts who will judge the presentations and determine the winner.

Finalists are required to present their research onsite in Madrid.

The winner will receive these Prizes: a financial reward, a certificate and a free registration for ACNAP Congress 2023.

Abstracts will be selected and assigned by the scientific programme committee. Abstracts not selected for the Doctoral Award session will be automatically considered for other oral presentation or e-poster presentation.

Rapid Fire Oral Abstract sessions

The highest graded abstracts will be selected to be presented orally during the rapid-fire abstract sessions which will be held onsite moderated by faculty members.

Selected Presenters are required to present their research onsite in Madrid.

Moderated ePosters

The highest graded posters will be selected to be presented orally during dedicated Moderated ePoster sessions which will be held onsite moderated by faculty members.

Selected Presenters must be present onsite in Madrid for their presentation


Accepted research will be published on the congress dedicated platform in an ePoster format. These ePosters will be consultable onsite via dedicated stations and online, on demand.

The dedicated platform will offer Interactivity features (such as Like, Share, Comment…) to engage with the presenters and facilitate scientific exchange on the presentation; it will allow continued discussions throughout the event.
