Presentation formats

Selected abstract will be assigned to different presentation formats. Each session is constructed to give the research the maximum of visibility and opportunity for exchange and interactions with colleagues / peers as well as key opinion leaders and distinguished members of our faculty.

Oral Abstract Sessions

Selected abstracts will be presented orally in a lecture room.

Two experts in the topics presented will co-chair the session, stimulate discussions and encourage interaction between presenters and the audience on the findings highlighted.

Up to 8 abstracts presented in one session - the presenter will give the audience an overview, using few slides to highlight the research purpose, methods, results and conclusion. Then the floor is open to questions and interaction ! We invite all delegates to consult the abstract online ahead of time and come to interact in the session.

A reviewing committee will attend the sessions, listen to all presentations and grade in order to select the best research presented.

One winner per session will receive a certificate and free registration for EuroHeartCare 2021.

Submission option: Doctoral Student

Selected for the outstanding quality of their work, applicants conducting a PhD will be competing in the oral Doctoral Student session and present their original research in-front of a jury.

The option "Doctoral Student" must be selected during abstract submission and a proof of Phd student status may be required.

The winner of the session will receive a certificate and free registration for EuroHeartCare 2021.

Moderated Poster Sessions

Presented in a poster format in the poster area, these posters will be showcased during intersession breaks. Two moderators will conduct the session and allow 5-minutes for each presenter to give an overview of the research.

Posters are then available for further consultation by the audience during the duration of the all-day poster session. Moderators will select the "Best Moderated Poster Presentation" at the end of each session.

Poster Sessions

Research is presented as a Poster - on display for the whole day - to allow sufficient viewing time and interaction opportunities in this very dynamic and person to person format.  The place to meet colleagues and peers and specifically address issues related to your daily practice / field of interest / research.  The poster area is always given a central place in the congress centre to enhance visibility of research presented.

Top Scores ! In recognition for all top scored research, you will find a sign indicating the poster is amongst the top scored research presented at the congress!
