  • Gain experience
  • Be acknowledged as an active contributor in your community

Be published & visible

Presentation Formats

Selected abstracts will be assigned to different presentation formats.

Each session is built to give the maximum visibility to the research and the opportunity for exchange and interactions with peers and key opinion leaders.

If as presenter you are planning to attend the congress in person, arrangements will be made for onsite presentation (YIA, oral live sessions or e-posters). We encourage all presenters to take the opportunity to meet our expert in person and discuss their research and for online presenters to make the most of the platform features available.

Young Investigator Award Session (YIA)

Two YIA sessions will be chaired by senior faculty members: one dedicated to Basic Science and another to Clinical Science.

The selected finalists will present their research in these dedicated sessions, and a panel of experts will judge the presentations and determine the winners.

  • Free registration for EuroEcho 2021
  • Prizes: First Prize Winner (€ 1000) and two Runners-Up (€ 250)

  • Your abstract(s) must be accepted at EuroEcho 2021 in a Young Investigators Award Session
  • You must be the presenter of your abstract(s)
  • You must be under 40 years old

Abstracts have been selected and assigned by the Scientific Programme Committee. Abstracts not selected for a YIA Session have been automatically considered for other oral presentation or e-poster presentation.

Live Abstract Sessions

Best rated abstracts will be featured in dedicated Live Abstract sessions organised during the event to allow you to interact with the presenters and expert moderators.

Selected researchs will be published on Research Gateway in an ePoster format. These ePosters will be available on-demand during and after EuroEcho 2021 Congress.
This platform will allow continued discussions during the event, with interaction functionalities such as rating the presentation, number of views, chat and comments.
The abstract submitter will be able to participate and follow the conversation on their abstract throughout the event.
