Before travelling to Berlin - Obligation to register
Before entering Germany, you must carry out a digital registration on entry if, at any time in the ten days prior to your entry, you spent time in an area classified as a high-risk area or an area of variants of concern at the time of your entry. Please enter information on the places you stayed over the previous ten days via the www.einreiseanmeldung.de website. After filling in all of the necessary information, you will receive a PDF file as confirmation. Before transporting you to your destination, your carrier, as a rule, will check whether you are in possession of a confirmation. Otherwise, the carrier will not be allowed to take you.

Important information for non-EU participants
All vaccinated citizens can receive an EU Digital COVID Certificate if desired. This certificate is issued in vaccination centres, medical practices, health departments or pharmacies. Bring proof of your received COVID vaccination(s) or your yellow vaccination record and an ID document to receive your certificate. A separate certificate with a QR code is issued for every single vaccine dose.
Recovery certificates are issued by medical offices, health departments and pharmacies.

Entry conditions at EuroEcho 2021 in Berlin: safety and hygiene measures as of 15 November 2021*
* Regulations may be subject to change based on German governmental regulations and Messe Berlin venue
In order to maintain the highest levels of delegate safety, and in light of recent governmental regulations (2G Plan), all EuroEcho 2021 delegates will be required to provide the following upon arrival at the congress centre:
1. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19*, or
2. Proof of recovery**
PCR and antigenic tests will not be accepted. Without valid proof of vaccination or recovery, participants will not be permitted to enter the congress centre.
* Vaccinated people who have been vaccinated with a vaccine against Covid-19 approved by the European Union if the person's final required vaccination was at least 14 days prior:
- Comirnaty (BioNTech, Pfizer)
- Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca, Oxford)
- Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
** People who can show proof of a positive PCR test result for an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus taken at least six months ago and who have received at least one vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine approved by the European Union and whose last vaccination was at least 14 days prior or people who can show proof of a positive PCR test result for an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus taken at least 28 days ago but no more than six months ago.
Mouth and nose coverings
Based on the recent governmental sanitary and safety regulations (2G plan), COVID-19 restrictions such as the mask are dropped. EuroEcho 2021 participants can however chose to wear a surgical or FFP2 face mask
(without valve). Participants are personally responsible of bringing their own face masks at EuroEcho 2021.
FFP2 face masks remain however mandatory for public transportations in Berlin.
Only Cash-free payment methods will be accepted at EuroEcho (EC card, credit card,etc.).
In order to be able to trace and localise possible infections and in compliance with the legal provisions, the ESC will collect information on all participants at the time of their registration (via their My ESC account) and upon arrival at the venue. The information on the exact times of entry to and departure from the event venue will be collected via a scanning system.
The attendance documentation may only be used to execute infection control laws, especially for contact tracing. The data collected shall be kept or stored for a period of two weeks.
After the retention period has expired, this attendance documentation will be deleted or destroyed.
Cleaning and disinfection measures
As part of the hygiene and security concept:
- All surfaces will be disinfected on a regular basis
- Hand sanitiser dispensers will be provided at the venue
- Ventilation in all enclosed spaces/halls, with the aim of providing an adequate air exchange rate is guaranteed
