ESC Digital Health Week

ESC Digital Health Week 2020 is only accessible to healthcare professionals, associated press, Medical Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence professionals and other stakeholders in the science, management and prevention of cardiovascular disease.


By registering, you accept that delegates not belonging to one of the above categories will not be able to access the online event.

General Conditions

Access to ESC Digital Health Week 2020 is offered free of charge.
The virtual sessions composing ESC Digital Health Week 2020 will be accessible to registered participants (Delegates) only and will take place on Monday 30 November to Thursday 3 December 2020. Registrations will be acknowledged by email upon validation of the registration form duly completed by the Delegates.
Incomplete or incorrect email addresses or agency addresses will not be accepted and will result in the cancellation of the registration.

Cancellation or Alteration

ESC Digital Health Week 2020 being accessible free of charge, no refund nor compensation will apply in case of cancellation of the event.
The ESC reserves the right to modify the event programme at any time, which is published as an indication only and subject to change.
No right to further claims will be possible should the ESC be obliged to alter the programme of the event.

In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of ESC Digital Health Week 2020. Delegates shall not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.

Data Privacy Statement

The information collected during this registration process is necessary to provide you with an optimal user experience and networking opportunities during ESC Digital Health Week 2020.
During ESC Digital Health Week 2020 your online activity will be tracked and collected by the ESC. This will be used for reporting and statistical purposes; to assist in enhancing your experience; to inform you about ESC activities in a coherent and adequate manner and provide you with personalised suggestions and recommendations of pertinent content for you to visit.
The recipients of the data are ESC Staff and management. The data collected will be kept for a maximum of five years after your last transaction or activity with us, after which time your My ESC account will be closed (financial transactions will be kept for a maximum of ten years for legal accounting purposes).

 

Additionally, if you visit an industry partner’s area/webpage or presentation as part of ESC Digital Health Week 2020, your personal data can be retrieved by the corresponding exhibitor or industry: first name(s), last name(s), country, email, and profile information.

In accordance with the chapter three of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from the ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The ESC has appointed a Data Protection Officer that you can reach at dpo@escardio.org.

Applicable Law and Litigation
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with French law without regard to any conflicts of laws principles thereof that would require the application of the law of any other jurisdiction.
Any disputes arising in relation hereto shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French Tribunal de Grande Instance located in Grasse, France.
