OUR MISSION: TO REDUCE THE BURDEN OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE
These regulations apply to invited speakers, discussants and chairpersons for all sessions organised by the Congress Programme Committee, the ESC Councils, the ESC Associations and Working Groups.
It is not the European Society of Cardiology policy to support travel and hotel accommodation. There will be no reimbursement for travel expenses or hotel accommodation. All participants have to make their own travel arrangements
The congress registration fee for invited speakers, chairpersons and ESC Fellows (as already included in the Fellowship fee) will be waived
No honorarium will be paid
All invited speakers and chairpersons must register via ‘My Agreements’ through the ‘My ESC’ online services (the link is provided in the original invitation). This will NOT be done automatically - use the free registration option
We strongly recommend booking your hotel room via the proposed online services at the same time. We also advise you to secure your hotel reservation online. Click on the "Book" button and you will be re-directed to our partner website.
All faculty must declare possible conflict of interest online when accepting the invitation as well as during the session
Speaker must declare possible conflict of interest regarding their current presentation on their first slide.
Chairpersons/Discussants/Judges must declare possible conflict of interest regarding the topics of the presentations orally at the beginning of the session
All sessions will be recorded - presentations will be made available within 24h on ESC Congress 365 (provided the speakers have granted copyrights to the ESC via their agreement form)
Granting the ESC the rights to use the presentation for educational purposes
By giving to the ESC the rights to use the materials in your presentation(s), you also allow the ESC to record (including video, photographic images, sound recordings and slides captures of the presentation and the presenter), reformat, publish (as videos/ audio recording) reproduce, distribute and prepare derivative works such as press releases and/or educational products directly or with partners... This also includes use in indexes or search databases, in printed and electronic congress publications (e.g ESC TV & Congress 365 or SP&P), as well as other congress media channel.
