The virtual sessions composing ESC Congress 2020 - The Digital Experience will be accessible to registered participants (Delegates) only and will take place between 29 August and 1 September 2020. Registrations will be acknowledged by email upon validation of the registration form duly completed by the Delegates.
Incomplete or incorrect email addresses or agency addresses will not be accepted and will result in the cancellation of the registration.
Cancellation or Alteration
The ESC Congress 2020 - The Digital Experience being accessible free of charge, no refund nor compensation will apply in case of cancellation of the event.
The ESC reserves the right to modify the Congress programme at any time, which is published as an indication only and subject to change.
No right to further claims will be possible should the ESC be obliged to alter the programme of the Congress.
In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of ESC Congress 2020 - The Digital Experience. Delegates shall not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.

During ESC Congress 2020 – The Digital Experience your online activity will be tracked and collected by the ESC. When accessing an Industry Session, Tutorial or Exhibition, the following data will be shared with the corresponding industry: title, first name, family name, age, gender, country, city, email address, and profile information. In accordance with the chapter three of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from the ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

Applicable Law and Litigation
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with French law without regard to any conflicts of laws principles thereof that would require the application of the law of any other jurisdiction.
Any disputes arising in relation hereto shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French Tribunal de Grande Instance located in Grasse, France.
