How do I register for ESC Asia with APSC & AFC 2020?

In an effort to further support healthcare professionals around the world, the ESC has decided, exceptionally for 2020, to offer complimentary registration. The digital event is available at no charge but pre-registration is mandatory. 

Please note that group or third-party registration is not available and that delegates must register themselves.

To register, you will need to sign in to your My ESC account. If you do not have a My ESC account you will need to create one during the registration process.

Who is eligible to register for ESC Asia with APSC & AFC 2020?

Registration is reserved to certified healthcare professionals, associated press, healthcare industry representatives and other stakeholders involved in the science, management and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

I can’t attend ESC Asia with APSC & AFC 2020. How can I access the scientific presentations?

We’re sorry you’ll miss the Congress. You will be able to access presentations on demand until 5 January 2021. You just need to register now to benefit from these resources.

How can I access the full programme?

Exact starting times may differ slightly, please plan to join 5 minutes earlier to ensure you do not miss the start of the presentation.

Kindly note that dates/times available in the Programme at a Glance will be at both CET-Paris and SGT- Singapore Times.

Presentations will be made available On-Demand within 24 hours. All presentations will be available until 5 January 2021 for those who are registered to the online event. 

Translation and subtitles

All presentations are made in English. Translations are not available.

You can replay the presentations and English subtitles will be available in videos on demand.

How can I interact during the presentations?

Most sessions will have a Q&A window on the right of the presentation where you can ask questions and interact with other participants through the Forums.

Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.

All posts should be made in English so the global community can understand and respond.

ESC term and conditions: Participants guarantee that the content he/she submits on the Forum is not obscene, threatening, harassing, deceptive, invasive of another’s privacy, offensive, defamatory of any person, illegal or otherwise deliberately intended to upset or harm other users. The European Society of Cardiology reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit, refuse to publish, and remove any user’s content from ESC Websites at any time and without prior notice.

How can I interact with an abstract presenter in the On-Demand programme?

Once you have selected the abstract on demand, please click on the dedicated icon (envelop) below to ask a question to the presenter.


What time will my presentation be broadcast?

We invite you to access your agreement form to find the details related to your contribution to ESC Asia with APSC and AFC 2020 including the date and time your presentation will be broadcasted (please note that the timing information on our agreement form is at Singapore/SGT time).

Kindly consider that timing can slightly vary, therefore we advise you to connect 5 minutes earlier than your scheduled time.

Where can I find/watch my presentation again?

All presentations will be available on demand 24 hours after broadcast and available until 5 January 2021 to all registered participants.

How can I interact with the viewers during the broadcast of my presentation?

A Forum is available to give speakers the opportunity to exchange directly with viewers. Your presence online in the Forum at the time of your presentation would be most appreciated.

To enter the Forum and interact with the audience:

  1. Connect to the platform on the day / time of your presentation
    Please note the times indicated are approximative, so we ask you to connect 5 minutes before and, if possible, plan to stay longer than your actual presentation duration to accommodate any delay in the broadcast.
  2. During your presentation you will see on the side a Forum window. Use the chat function to enter the Forum discussion. Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.

The Forum is an area for scientific exchange rather than a questions and answers page.
