- 12 January 2022 - Extended submission deadline
- Early February 2022 - Clinical case results announcement online. An email will also be sent to each submitter.
Prepare your submission
Your clinical case must be clear, educational, practical and REAL – The purpose of a clinical case presentation is to communicate diagnostic reasoning in the light of the current ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines providing a clear description of the patient’s condition and further management options based on these guidelines.
Your case needs to be educational and not necessarily rare or unusual.

Clinical Case sessions
Presenting your clinical case during EHRA 2022 will allow you to give your work a worldwide long-term exposure and multinational connections with professionals.
Live Clinical Case Sessions -
Top rated clinical cases will be presented in person during dedicated sessions.
Those sessions will also be featured Live on the online congress platform.
They will be moderated by two Chairpersons. Presenters will have 5 minutes to present their clinical case Live, followed by 5 minutes Questions & Answers with the Chairpersons and the audience.
Clinical Case Sessions –
Selected clinical cases will be showcased on the online congress platform as PowerPoint Slide presentation with voice-over. It will be available on-demand on Research Gateway during and after EHRA 2022.
The platform will offer Interactivity features (such as Like, Share, Comment….) to engage with the presenters and facilitate scientific exchange on the clinical cases.
Presenters will be able to participate and follow the conversation on their clinical case throughout the event.
After the event, all clinical case presentations will be available on ESC 365, the cardiology knowledge hub.
The European Heart Journal – Case Reports will offer a publication, free of charge, to one of the best rated cases.
