EHRA Congress Educational Grants 2019

Call for application 17 September – 31 October 2018

EHRA yearly congress is the best opportunity to present cutting-edge research and clinical findings to a wide range of practitioners, 2019 congress edition is taking place in Lisbon from 17-19 March.

Since 1 January 2018, EHRA is facing new challenges, most notably the revised MedTech Europe code, which prohibits the direct sponsoring by medical device companies of a delegate’s congress attendance. In this respect once again, EHRA will provide Congress Educational Grants to facilitate attendance to as many delegates as possible.



The Grant

  • €500 (Five hundred Euros), a contribution towards costs of travel and accommodation to attend EHRA 2019 Congress
  • A standard congress registration to EHRA 2019 Congress.

  • Ensure that your My ESC profile is up to date. Please check the fields “My personal details” and “My activities”

  • Incomplete application forms will not be considered
  • The number of EHRA Congress Educational Grants is limited. Interested applicants are asked to submit the form promptly

  • Applicants are eligible for one source of funding only

To ensure fair and transparent distribution, EHRA board created the EHRA Selection Committee. All applications will be rated based on predefined criteria agreed upon by the committee:

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Country
  • Experience
  • Speciality
  • Number of publications indexed in the last 5 years
  • H-index
  • etc..

  • Grant recipients notification: mid November
