Certificate of Attendance and Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits

EACVI - Best of imaging 2020

EACVI – Best of Imaging 2020 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 12 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS)

How to receive your CME certificate

Your participation at EACVI – the best of imaging 2020 entitles you to a maximum of 12 CME credits.

You will receive one credit for each full hour you have spent online during the congress and a maximum of 5 credits on Friday 11 December and 7 credits on Saturday as defined by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Specialists (UEMS). The sum of the number of hours each day spent will give the total number of credits obtained at the end of the event.

The certificate will be available from 21 January and is based on the real time tracked spent viewing scientific video from Friday, 11 December 12:00 CEST to Saturday 12 December, 19:00 CEST, except for the informal sessions taking place in the Discussions Rooms (Friday 11 December at 18:35 CET and Saturday 12 December at 8:00 CET)

Please be aware that any tracking blockers on your device or browser may prevent us from tracking your activity properly, with the result that the CME points will not be added on your certificate of attendance and cannot be claimed after the event.

To access your credits:

  1. Make sure you ticked the box “I am interested in collecting CME Credits (ECMEC®) for my participation” when you registered. If not, you are able to do it in your My ESC account.
  2. Please complete the EACCME evaluation form
  3. Retrieve your CME certificate in January from your My ESC account.

Participants from USA and Canada

American Medical Association (AMA) and non-AMA members alike will be able to convert up to 24 hours of EACCME Credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. See information on the process to convert EACCME® credits to AMA credits.
