Confirmation of your presentation should be done as soon as possible

Step 1: Log in to using your My ESC account (e-mail and password - the one used for abstract submission). - You will also be able to view the abstract presentation time and format.

Step 2: Select the presenter and confirm contact details.

Step 3: The presenter selected in step 2 will receive instructions by email to submit his/her agreement form. The agreement form has to be submitted as soon as possible to ensure the abstract information is accurate in the final programme.

Young Investigator Award Competition

A session dedicated to researchers 35 or below - presenting top research in the field.
6 finalists will present their abstracts before a panel of judges who will appoint a winner

Your abstract(s) must have been submitted under the option “Young Investigator Award”

The first author/presenter must be 35 years old or less at the time of the congress - birthday cut-off date 06 March 1982

Your abstract must be accepted for presentation in the YIA session at Acute Cardiovascular Care Congress 2018.

  • YIA finalists will benefit from a free registration to Acute Cardiovascular Care Congress 2018
  • The Winner of the YIA competition will chair next year YIA session and get free registration for Acute Cardiovascular Care 2019

ACCA Research Prize - rewarding excellence in unpublished research

Scientists and clinicians were invited to submit their unpublished research in the area of acute cardiovascular care with a focus on the quality of care research, clinical outcomes research and translational research applied to the development of novel therapeutic, diagnostic and logistical strategies to improve patient care and long-term outcomes.
The ACCA Research Prize Winner will get a €3000 Prize

All ACCA Research Prize Finalists will:
• present their research in this oral session.
• benefit from a free registration to Acute Cardiovascular Care 2018
• receive a diploma

Your abstract(s) must have been submitted under one of the following options:
• "ACCA Research Prize - Clinical outcomes research"
• "ACCA Research Prize - Quality of care research"
• "ACCA Research Prize - Translational Research"

The submitter must be an ACCA member

Your abstract must be accepted for presentation in the ACCA Research Prize Option

Abstracts have been selected and assigned by the Scientific Programme Committee. Abstracts not selected for a YIA Session or for ACCA Research Prize have been considered for other oral presentation or poster presentation.

Moderated Abstract & Clinical Case poster sessions

The ideal platform to meet presenters, colleagues & peers in front of their research and discuss their findings; selected presenters are invited to discuss their abstract or their clinical case in front of an audience during dedicated breaks - they will be challenged by the moderators!

Poster sessions

The selected research will be on display in the Poster Area. Presenters will have time to meet and exchange on their study during the coffee breaks.
