You have a great case that you want to share? The ESC community wants to learn from YOU!

Submit your case to get a chance to present it in Amsterdam in a dynamic and educative session.

You will be directed to the online ESC Congress dedicated Clinical Case submission platform

The submission deadline is Sunday 1 March 2020, 23:59 p.m. (Paris Time).

 

Your clinical case must be clear, educational, practice and REAL -

The purpose of a clinical case presentation is to communicate diagnostic reasoning in the light of the current ESC Clinical Practice Guidelines providing a clear description of the patient's condition and further management options based on these guidelines.

Your case needs to be educational and not necessarily rare or unusual.

 

Clinical Case submission is open to all (no age restriction).


Important Dates

1 March 2020 - Deadline to submit your case

Early May 2020 - Clinical Case results announcement. An email will be sent to each submitter.

22 May 2020 - Deadline to confirm presentation and submit agreement form

31 May 2020 - Early fee registration deadline - All case presenters must register for the Congress 

 

A dedicated programme for Clinical Cases

Clinical Case Award Session

For Presenters under 40 years old ONLY

The four best cases will be selected. Presenters will be in competition and their presentation evaluated on the following criteria: originality, scientific content, presentation, answers to questions.

The ESC will grant the winner with a prize of €2,000 and finalists will each receive a prize of €1,000.

Results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.

 

Clinical Case Sessions

Highly interactive and educational sessions dedicated to the presentation of cases selected.

Clinicians will present their cases and experts will moderate the session, facilitate interaction with the audience, prompt discussions, challenge the presenters and the audience.
