Important Dates

End of May 2020 - Abstract results announcement. An email will be sent to each submitter
25 June 2020 - Deadline to confirm the presentation/presenter's name and to submit the agreement form
30 June 2020 - Early-fee registration deadline. All abstract presenters must register for the congress

 

ESC Congress Awards

Young Investigator Awards

Selected for the outstanding quality of their work, four young investigators will be competing in each session for a prestigious ESC award based on presenting their original research in front of a jury. The awards will be focused on basic science, clinical cardiology, thrombosis, population sciences, coronary pathophysiology and microcirculation.

The ESC will award each winner a prize of €2,000. Finalists will each receive a prize of €1,000.

Nursing and Allied Professions Investigator Award

This award recognises significant contributions from new investigators in cardiovascular nursing and allied professions. 

The ESC will award the winner a prize of €2,000. Finalists will each receive a prize of €1,000.

Moderated Poster Winners

Moderated poster presenters will compete for 'Best Moderated Poster' with a prize of free registration for next year's ESC Congress. There will be nine winners in total (one per topic).

ESC Working Groups Awards

ESC Working Groups are pleased to support high-quality research at ESC Congress.
The best two abstracts submitted in their topic of expertise will be selected. The presenter of each best abstract will receive an award and a financial prize of €500.
