Why not repeat a success? – The Membership Zone
Last years’ congress in Vienna had for the first time a dedicated area for membership and ESC Constituent Bodies, with specific emphasise on the National Societies as all their stands were centralised here – the Membership Zone. The feedback about this “embassy avenue” both from the National Societies boards and the congress delegates was overwhelmingly positive. So in Munich this year you will find the concept again!

The layout this year is different (resembling more a square than an avenue..) but the idea is the same.
Even more centralised information
As something new, there will be one, central Membership Stand gathering all the ESC Constituent bodies, centrally located in the Zone. And furthermore, within the Membership Zone, you will be able to pick up your free ESC Pocket Guidelines, reserved for ESC Members.
Come and meet the National Societies on their own stands
Most of the National Societies will be present with a stand in the Membership Zone. Come by and see and hear what they offer, catch up with national and international colleagues – why not make your National Societies’ stand a convenient meeting point?
In order to locate your countries’ stand, check the Interactive
Map - select the tab named “Membership Zone” and scroll your mouse across the map to discover who is where (a left-click will give you more detail) or find what interests you in the alphabetic list below the map.
Meetings dedicated to National Societies
Representatives from the boards of the National Societies will attend meetings on specific issues during the Congress as we benefit from having most of them under the same roof – the majority of National Societies Presidents and Secretaries attend the congress each year and it is a good opportunity to exchange ideas and inform about new ESC initiatives. This year there is specific emphasis on the new ESC Web Site, ESC Guidelines endorsement and implementation, as well as national journals and European affairs issues.
