Main activities
Regular, 2-yearly International Cardiology Meeting since 1979 with the participation of leading cardiologists from Europe and the United States.
In association with the Hellenic Cardiology Society, regular 2-yearly Cypro-Hellenic Cardiology Meeting since 1994. Regular, monthly scientific meetings for members. Over 15 scientific meetings/lectures are held every year either by the Society or under its auspices.
Participation in Research Programs
The CSC is actively involved in European proceedings, participating in multicenter studies and European programs since 2000. In 2007 the CSC took part in the EuroAspire III study, which aimed at identifying with the targets for secondary prevention are met in patients with coronary artery disease as well as if preventive screening has been undertaking in their families.
Participation in International Meetings
Many of its members post abstracts for the annual European, Pan-Hellenic and other International Cardiology Meetings.
For the second year running, the CSC will have its own stand at the European Cardiology Meeting that will be held in Munich, Germany from 30 August to 2 September.
