Activities
Multicenter trials
Some members of the MSC have been involved in multicenter trials of significance as well as in the evaluation of prototype instrumentation. Eventually, and once that Mexican physicians have had the opportunity of meeting with their European colleagues that have shared research interests, collaboration at these levels could be fostered.
Congress
Our XXVI National Congress is scheduled for October 23-27, 2009. It will take place in Acapulco in a new ultramodern convention center that will be inaugurated this year and is to be one of the best in its class in Latin America.
Our congresses usually include an international faculty that numbers around 60, which in the past have been mostly from the U.S. We would be delighted to be able to hold a joint meeting with the ESC to strengthen our ties, as well as to have a balanced mixture of international speakers (Europe, US, Asia and Latin America) in the different symposia that make up the sustaining pillars of our Congress.
