This Educational course organised by the Heart Failure Association of the ESC was held at the European Heart House on 4-5th May 2007.
The programme took the form of a two day course covering the modern treatment of chronic heart failure - with a world class faculty lecturing on the place of drugs and devices, co-morbidity, and what to do when patients fail to respond to first line therapies. A comparison between the European and North American guidelines highlights the controversial areas of modern practice. The programme included didactic lectures, case strudies and panel discussions.
This educational training programme and related materials are supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited.
