This Educational course organised by the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation was held at the European Heart House on 15-17 November 2007.
The course was directed at cardiologists and other specialists in internal medicine, hypertension, lipids, diabetes and primary or secondary care with a practical interest in prevention of cardiovascular disease in daily clinical practice.
The overall aim of this course is to present a practical approach to the implementation of the new 2007 European Society of Cardiology Guidelines on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention.
This educational training programme and online resources are supported by unrestricted educational grants from Merck Schering-Plough, Pfizer, and Sanofi-Aventis.
