The Online Services for abstract submission will be open Wednesday, 23 July 2008. In order to maintain the high standards of extreme quality and to reinforce the message that ICNC is the international scientific event in nuclear cardiology, we ask that you consider submitting an abstract for ICNC9.
Accepted abstracts will be dispatched into the following categories:
Oral Abstract Sessions
Original presentations in the field of nuclear cardiology will be given orally in a lecture room with two experts chairing each session. 6 dedicated sessions are included in the programme from Monday to Wednesday.
Young Investigators' Award session
The best abstracts from junior investigators will be selected for presentation in Barcelona, as part of the Young Investigators' session. All candidates are less than 35 years of age at the time of the congress and are willing to present their original work at ICNC9.
The selected presenters shall receive a certificate, a € 500 prize and complimentary registration. A panel of experts will judge the competition and select the YIA winner onsite. The winner will be announced during the Gala Dinner and will receive an additional € 500.
Moderated Poster Sessions
Take place during the Coffee Breaks. At each session, Posters which are considered to be of special interest will be assembled in the Poster area. Presenters will be asked to discuss briefly the content of their poster with two moderators in front of an appreciative audience.
Poster sessions
Consist of a visual display of research highlights. The posters considered to be of special interest will be integrated into the Moderated Posters Sessions. Selected presenters will discuss briefly the content of their poster with two moderators in front of an appreciative audience.
