The programme has been carefully planned to provide state-of-the-art information about all aspects of heart failure.
More than 70 sessions designed for you heart failure specialists to enhance your knowledge, advance your skills and apprise you of the latest developments. 

  • ESC Guidelines on diagnosis & treatment of HF 

A first presentation of the ESC Guidelines on the diagnosis & treatment of heart failure - by the HFA Task force involved in the redaction. Guidelines aim to present all relevant evidence on a particular clinical issue in order to help physicians to weight the benefits and risks of particular diagnostic or  therapeutic procedure. 
 

  • Latest Updates

On devices and therapies, ongoing trials and research to understand the upcoming technologies, drugs and development in heart failure. Hear about the latest clinical trial data and patient registries.



   Heart Failure 2012 Congress is organised by Heart Failure Association of the ESC, European Section of the International Society for Heart Reserach and ESC Working Group on Myocardial Function.

 

Continued Medical Education

The Heart Failure 2012 Congress is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 17 hours of External CME credits.
Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity.
EBAC  works  in  cooperation  with  the  European Accreditation  Council  for  Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

EBAC credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award  (PRA).  Detailed  instructions  for  converting  these  credits  to  AMA  PRA  Category  1  Credits  are available on the AMA website.
