EuroPRevent 2006

EuroPRevent 2006

EuroPRevent 2006 was held on 11-13 May 2006 at the Hilton Hotel in Athens (GR).

Its focus was  to draw the attention of the European population to the importance of adopting healthier life styles including dietary habits and physical activity and recognizing cardiovascular rehabilitation as a treatment modality for both risk factor modification and effective intervention in the whole spectrum of atherosclerotic disease, from primary prevention to chronic heart failure.

With more than 800 worldwide participants for this first edition, EuroPRevent, the annual congress of the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation ( EACPR) is expected to become an meeting place between science and clinical cardiology.
