Practical Information

Abstract CD-Rom - A copy of the EuroPRevent Abstract CD-Rom will be available on the EACPR / ESC stand number F-B1. The CD-Rom is offered in lieu of the printed version in an attempt to use less paper.

Badge - If you have not received your badge in advance, please proceed to the ‘Registration Assistance’ desk with your registration number (DUB/xxxx). This number can be found on the confirmation letter you received.
If you have your badge, please proceed directly to the ‘Congress Bag’ desk. For security reasons, please ensure your badge is visible at all times during the congress.

Book of Kells - If you have time outside of congress hours to visit the city, please stop by Trinity College for a visit of the Book of Kells. Trinity College, in collaboration with the Irish Heart Foundation, has decided to offer all delegates upon presentation of their congress badge a discount to visit this national treasure. The fee to visit is €3.25 instead of €8.50. Delegates can avail of this discounted rate from 2 - 6 May.

Catering - a cash catering unit will b located in the Exhibition Area near the Internet Corner for delegates wishing to purchase catering outside of our Healthy Break timeslots.

Certificate of Attendance - Certificates of Attendance will be available from any Registration desk as from Friday, 4 May.

Cloakroom - The Cloakroom will be located to the right of the Main Entrance and the Registration Area. A fee of €2 will be charged for each item.

Delegate Bag - Each delegate is entitled to a  delegate bag to be picked up from a dedicated desk to the left of the Registration Area. The bags contain the final programme, an abstract CD-Rom voucher, note pad and pen, brochures and industry advertisements.

EACPR General Assembly - Make sure that your voice is heard! Meet with the EACPR Board at the EACPR General Assembly, on Saturday 5 May from 14:00 - 15:00, in Room Liffey B.

EACPR Member Lounge - The EACPR Member Lounge is an exclusive area that permits members to take a break, meet up with a colleague, check their mails or simply relax. The lounge will be located in the Exhibition Area on the left hand side. 

EACPR/ESC STAND - The European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention & Rehabilitation (EACPR) is a registered branch of the ESC, representing over 2,800 health professionals. The EACPR aims at promoting excellence in research, practice, education and policy in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation in Europe, through the European Journal on Preventive Cardiology (EJPC), and the EuroPRevent congress.

Healthy Breaks - Go on, give yourself a break! During the breaks, meet colleagues, visit exhibitors and review the posters. Four healthy breaks will be offered during EuroPRevent 2012.

Internet Corner - The Internet Corner located at the back of the Exhibition Area is free of charge. The venue additionally has free WIFI. When you log onto the CCD's WIFI simply activate the internet connection, accept the terms and conditions and you will then be connected.

Journal - Participants paying the Standard and EACPR Member fee will receive the 2013 subscription to the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.

Opening Ceremony - Join us on Thursday, 3 May in room Liffey B from 18:15 - 19:15 for the official opening of EuroPRevent.

Opening Reception - immediately after the Opening Ceremony, please join us for a reception in the Exhibition Area. Meet with colleagues and be entertained by a special Jazz Band.

Security - For security reasons, please ensure your badge is visible at all times during the congress.
Please be aware that when you visit exhibiting company stands during the event or attend industry satellite sessions, presenting your badge for scanning may enable them to retrieve the following personal data: first name(s), last name(s), address, telephone, fax, email, and profile information.

Speaker Service Centre - All speakers giving a presentation in the scientific sessions are requested to upload and validate their presentation in the Speaker Service Centre (SSC) a minimum of 3 hours before the session starts or the day before if the session is at 08:30. To find the SSC, take the escalators to Level 1. From the lobby, turn left and walk down the corridor to 'Liffey Meeting Room 1'.

Visual Reproduction - Photographing or filming scientific sessions or meetings is strictly prohibited (except with prior permission of the ESC). The ESC reserves the right to video all presentations of EuroPRevent 2012.
