Apoteket AB is until the 1 of July 2009, a Swedish state owned monopoly company. After that date the market will be opened to other actors. Apoteket runs 880 community pharmacies all over the country that offer prescription drugs, self-care drugs and
natural remedies together with a quality controlled range of other health products related to lifestyle, and health. About 100 pharmacies offer today the possibility to have a blood pressure waist and body composition check up, as one way to get control and to promote a healthy heart. This will be demonstrated on the stand. The future carries many new possibilities in this area and Apoteket will be one of the important players.
