Congress Opening Hours

Show your congress badge at the main entrance and come pick up your bag directly in the venue with a free copy of the Final Programme and an Industry Programme/Notepad from Wednesday 7!

Shuttles

Free Shuttle buses from Puskas Ferenc Stadion (previously named Stadionok Stadion) to Hungexpo Congress Centre.

Shuttles will run every 10 minutes from 7:15 – 10:00 in the morning to Hungexpo and 17:40 – 18:45 in the evening to the metro station. Between 10:00 and 17:40, shuttles will run between Hungexpo and Puskas Ferenc Stadion approximately every 20 minutes. A detailed schedule is available here. 

Hungexpo Official Taxi Company

The city Taxi is the official taxi company for Hungexpo. It accepts payment by credit card and cash in Euros and HUF currencies.

Special Events

Opening Ceremony

Wednesday 7 December from 16:00 to 17:30 in Room BUDAPEST, followed by a Cocktail Reception in the Exhibition Area.

General Assembly

Friday 9 December from 12:45 to 13:45 in Room PECS, led by Dr. Luigi Badano, EAE President. All EAE members and EUROECHO 2011 participants are invited to come find out about the recent activities.

Practical Information

Abstracts Online

The selected abstracts of EUROECHO 2011 will be available online in December.
Computer stations are located in the Poster Area for onsite consultation.

Banking

A cash dispenser (ATM) is located under the covered walkway (HUF currency only).
Onsite catering will accept both Euros and HUF.

Business Centre

A business centre will be available at the right of the Congress main entrance.

City Information

For city information, please go to the City info desk located in the Registration Area on-site and:
- Get your City information guides and maps
- Book a taxi at preferential rates and get a special taxi discount card for free
- Buy your Budapest City Card and get discounts around the City
- Organise excursions, night life, etc.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates will be available from the Registration desks on-site as of Friday 9 December.

Certificate of Presentation

Abstract presenters should request their certificate at the Poster Assistance Desk on-site.

Cloakroom

Free left luggage and Cloakroom facilities located in the main entrance on-site.

Coffee Breaks

Open buffets, offered by the European Society of Echocardiography (EAE), are located in the Poster Area on-site on:
• Thursday 8 December: 10:00 - 11:00 and 15:30 - 16:30
• Friday 9 December: 10:00 - 11:00 and 15:30 - 16:30
• Saturday 10 December: 10:00 - 11:00

Language

The official language during the congress is English. All lectures and presentations will be held in English only. No translation is available.

Lost and Found

Lost and found items can be recovered from the Registration Area on-site.
Lost Badges: A fixed price of €40 will be charged for the replacement of lost badges, at the Registration assistance desk.

Lunch Breaks

Order your lunch in advance from 7:30 and collect it during the break on-site.

Security

For security reasons, please ensure your badge is visible at all times during the congress.
Please be aware that when you visit exhibiting company stands during the event or attend industry satellite sessions, presenting your badge for scanning may enable them to retrieve the following personal data: first name(s), last name(s),address, telephone, fax, email, and profile information.

Webspace

Computers will be available close to the Poster Area.
