Rehearsal: In the SSC, a demonstration lectern will represent what is supplied in the lecture room. We strongly recommend that all speakers should familiarize themselves with the mouse control.

To the attention of MAC users: If your presentation is on a Mac computer, we kindly urge you to meet with a dedicated Mac technician in the SSC to either make sure that your presentation will run properly on the PC’s or to anticipate a backup solution.

In the Lecture Room:

Seats are reserved for  the session's speakers in the front row facing the lectern.

From the lectern, you will launch yourself your presentation by the use of a friendly interface and control it directly with a mouse.

Dimensions of your poster:
Landscape 1m (height) x 1m40 (width)

Please note these dimensions and keep for when you prepare your poster.

Suggestion:

Design your poster layout in the following sections:

   1. Title, author(s), address (at upper edge, across the width of whole poster)
   2. Purpose
   3. Methods
   4. Results
   5. Conclusions

Recommended sketch of poster:

The title should be emphasized by the use of bold-face type. When displayed the letters used should not be smaller than 15mm.
The subtitle should be printed in the same kind of lettering, but semi-bold and not less than 10mm high when displayed. This guarantees clear reading even from a distance of 2-3 meters.

The text should be broken up by the inclusion of drawings and/or photos.
The use of colour makes the poster more attractive and effective.

Material for mounting your poster to the poster board will be supplied by the organizers. Please refer to the ESC staff in the poster area for further assistance.
