GENERAL CONDITIONS
Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of payment (by credit card, bank transfer or cheque) and a valid address on your individual registration form (we kindly remind you that sponsor addresses are not accepted). The registration will be acknowledged by email. You may update your address here.
Your congress badge will be mailed together with the congress bag voucher prior to the Congress. The badge will be sent upon the condition that the registration is paid in full before the pre-registration deadline of 31 October 2009.
We advise you to bring your confirmation email to the congress together with the congress badge and voucher in order to collect your congress documents as soon as possible after your arrival. You may be asked for proof of identity.
If you have paid the registration fee but did not receive your badge in time before leaving for the congress, please go to the special "Pre-Registration without badge" desk located in the Registration Area with your pre-registration confirmation email.
If you did not pay in time, your badge will be available at the "Registration Assistance" desk in the Registration Area.
Package Fees

Individual subscription is also possible. All details are available here, section "Membership" and on stands during congresses organised by the ESC.
"Standard Fee" registrations cannot be changed into "Package Fee" at a later stage. In this case application for membership should be made directly through the EAE Membership Department.
CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION
Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified in writing and will be subject to the following conditions:
- Cancellation Condition
Until 30 September 2009: refund of fee minus a 25% administrative charge
After 31 October 2009: no refund
- Name Change Conditions
Name change requested before 31 October 2009 will be charged 50 Euros
After 31 October 2009, no name changes will be accepted
- Miscellaneous
Loss of badge (on-site) will be charged 45 Euros

Requests for reimbursements must be sent in writing. Refunds will be processed after the congress.
Deadline for Early Fee Registration is 30 September 2009. This applies to both online and paper registrations.
Deadline for Pre-registration is 31 October 2009. If you have not registered by 31 October 2009, you will need to register onsite in Madrid.
The registration desk will be open from Tuesday 8 December at 10:00.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
The above terms apply to all registration cancellations.
Should a delegate not attend the congress, for whatever reasons, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made
Similarly no right to further claims or waiving of fees will arise should the ESC be obliged to alter congress proceedings
All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.
Children
Children under 16 cannot be admitted, for children over 16 the standard rate applies.
