Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Wednesday 10 December at 16:00 in Room AMPERE. It will be followed by a regional cocktail in the Exhibition Area.

EAE General Assembly

The General Assembly of the European Association of Echocardiography will take place during the Opening Ceremony in Room AMPERE on Wednesday 10 December. This will be the occasion for EAE to report on recent activities, new initiatives and to announce the election results. All EUROECHO 2008 participants are welcome to attend.

Accreditation Examinations

Take advantage of your presence at EUROECHO to sit one of the three accreditation exams organised by the EAE.
Please note that registration to the Congress is not a prerequisite for enrolment. Onsite enrolments are welcome and subject to availability. You can pre-register here.
The accreditation process provides formal European recognition of your practical experience and knowledge in 3 different areas:

All three examinations will take place in the EXAM Room, 2nd Floor above Registration.

E-Logbook NEW!

New this year! The EAE will launch at EUROECHO 2008 its new tool for accreditation candidates: the E-Logbook tool. Demonstration will be provided on-site on how to submit a logbook and all aspects of the E-Logbook.

EAE Members Lounge

Have a break: read your emails, meet the EAE Board members, review your notes, sit down with colleagues or simply enjoy a cup of coffee in the Members Lounge.
Access available to current EAE Members only, on Level -1 in the Registration Area.

Honorary Lectures

• The Edler Lecture by Professor Raimund Erbel, will take place on Wednesday 10 December during the Opening Ceremony in Room AMPERE.
   
• The EUROECHO Lecture by Professor Bijoy Khandheria, will take place on Friday 12 December at lunch time in Room AMPERE.
  Complimentary lunch boxes will be distributed.
