The highlight of the congress: cardiovascular imaging Cardiovascular imaging has become a key component in clinical cardiology. Over the past decades, we have witnessed a revolution in terms of imaging equipment and software packages: cardiovascular imaging is nowadays fully integrated in patient care. Cardiovascular imaging therefore has been selected as the theme for the ESC Congress 2008. A comprehensive update, together with the most recent developments in imaging will be provided, with a focus not only on technical innovations, but also on implementation in clinical practice. This information will be presented in an attractive program including state of the art lectures, symposia, and didactic read and meet with the expert sessions.

Continuing Medical Education Credits
The ESC Congress 2008 is accredited by the European Board for Accrediation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 18 hours of external CME credits. Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity. Attendance Certificates for participants will be provided on-site upon request.
EBAC works in cooperation with the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
